We’ve speculated for about a decade now that with the rise of robotics and increased automation, part of the labor market would undergo an inevitable shift. While AI applications can, in some cases, reduce the burden of physical labor, we still need people to develop and manage the machines. Even so, the labor market doesn’t seem to be keeping pace. With AI, employees become managers and with that comes the need of developing a new set of skills.

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to welcome various key business leaders as they share with participants their view on the talent gap that may be holding up the adoption of machine learning and AI in marketing and offer suggestions on how the gap might be bridged.
