EG – Excellence uses the discipline of neuroplastic science to develop new methods for lifelong learning and personality development. Before the 1980s, scientists assumed that the brain’s structure developed exclusively a critical early phase of childhood and was then “hardwired”. Current neuroscientific research, however, shows that the human brain has a high plasticity, and that even adults brains are able to form, strengthen, and establish new neural connections, learn new skills, and successfully discard old behavioural patterns. Even within a few months, new cells can be “born” in the adult brain. The neural network, responsible for the connection of individual cells, is able to reorganise itself over and over again, and can strengthen or thin out individual connections.
EG – Excellence integrates these findings into lectures, workshops, and coaching sessions, and ensures that the insights are fixed in the brain for lasting effect. The research can also identify and address latent prejudices and old cognitive patterns in managers – patterns that can have a massive negative impact on our subjective perception of the outside world, and our ability to understand other people’s perspectives in a neutral way.
We support left- and right-dominant thinkers in taking a holistic and integrative approach to solving professional challenges, promote a mutual understand between “left-brainers” and “right-brainers”, and build robust bridges across the hemisphere boundaries, once thought of as necessarily distinct.
We always take an interactive and realistic approach – our focus is unreservedly on practicability and feasibility. This is the unique selling point that distinguishes our workshops, assessments, lectures, and training from usual approaches. We also constantly develop these formats and adapt them to the needs of our clients and the challenges of different industries.
